 | Manual Mode Shuttle Speed from 1sec to 1/2000sec, with flash sync at 1/250sec.
The Shuttle Speed dial layout is clean and simple, allowing the photographer to unleash his creativity without fiddling with too many controls.
An excellent camera for Creative Photography. | | Aperture Priority With the Aperture Priority (AE) mode, the camera automatically select the right shutter speed based on lens aperture, allowing the photographer to capture the correctly exposed instant moment. This is particularily useful for street photography and photo journalism.
A functional feature that is essential in a camera. | | Exposure Compensation The R2A/R3A comes with Exposure Compensation, where you can use a different exposure value than the one that aperature priority has determined automatically. You can change the value to both brighter (+ compensation) or (- compensation). The amount you can compensate for is +/- 2 steps, by 1/2 step increments. | | AE Lock Function The AE Lock switch is located at the bottom of the file advance lever. When depressed, the Exposure value will be locked and allow you to recompose your picture. Useful for taking photos of objects against sun light and reframing objects which are off centre to ensure correct exposure. |
